the huddy

“The Huddy” from The Hudson in LA.

  • Hendrick’s Gin
  • St. Germain liqueur
  • simple syrup
  • fresh lime juice
  • muddled cucumber
  • muddled basil

This cocktail not only looks gorgeous, but tastes so refreshing for the summer. You’ve got to use Hendrick’s (no substitutions!) because they flavor their gin with rose water and cucumber. Delicious. Happy 4th!

  1. Sounds interesting … what is the St. Germain liqueur like?

    • The St. Germain is an elderflower liqueur that is quite aromatic and floral-tasting. Use it sparingly! It’s very sweet, so you’re better off starting with 1/4oz. in any cocktail and adding more to taste.
