fruit & cheese plate

20120229-130936.jpgLast night the fiance and I decided to treat ourselves to our favorite cheese fruit & cheese plate while catching up on our shows. (By the way, if you haven’t seen Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Two Broke Girls, Whitney, or Pan Am, crawl out from under your rock and get watching!) This plate is super easy to put together, looks presentable for guests, and tastes amazing. We found everything above at the local Trader Joe’s, sans a few specialty items. Above from left to right: Colby Jack, Mild Cheddar, Pepper Jack, Brie, Blueberry Vanilla Chevre (phenomenal), dried Turkish apricots, candied walnuts, fig butter, and Honey & Hot: Acacia Honey with Hot Pepper. Cracker plate: sliced pear, water crackers, and Raisin Rosemary Crisps. We paired it up with one of our go-to wines, the 2009 Super T from Ponte.
